We witnessed how successful breakout box events were for students and watched the teens’ excitement and engagement soar during every event. We realized there was so much potential - we wanted to bring the experience to more people.
We love to create customized and clever clues and build the boxes to provide a fun and unique collaborative experience for every participant at every specific event!

Jessica Thomas
I have always loved board games and riddles. When escape rooms started, I loved the concept and realized I could create something similar at school. That’s when our breakout box evolution started! When I am not creating clues, I am a health coach and mindfulness trainer with my own business called AJ Dynamic Wellness. I teach mindfulness through speaking engagements (for individuals, professional groups, and in the corporate world), provide online courses, and coach through private sessions. I have taught middle school and high school for over 20 years where I incorporate my creative clue-making and mindfulness lessons! Outside of work I enjoy attending concerts, playing outdoor sports like disc golf and pickleball, and doing anything that involves my friends and family!
Katie Pospisil
I am a retired school librarian who loves working with teens and books. Jessica and I worked together in the school setting for over 11 years and breakout boxes were by far our most successful learning activities. I especially enjoyed seeing the students engage with our breakout boxes where they used skills to work together to solve puzzles, answer clues and learn! Oh, and have fun! We are so excited to bring Breakout On-The-Go to the outside world!. In my free time I love reading, puzzling, exercising, watching “The Young and the Restless,” hanging out with my dog, Charlie, and traveling with my husband and two adult daughters.
