Instead of the normal games played at showers, let us come in with something unique and specific to the party!  We will make clues about the specific person and event, involving family and friends and it will be an experience you will never forget.

We had the joy of creating clues specific to the birthday girl for her graduation and 18th birthday party. Every clue was about her interests and her friends and family really enjoyed how the clues were so connected to the person they were celebrating!  

Another great way to have a unique experience for a big milestone in one’s life!  We created a 50th birthday event with clues specific to the birthday girl, but also with clues specific to “50” and the birth year of the person turning 50.  This can be done for any birthday number, not just 50!  But, if you are turning 50 soon, this one is ready to go!

This is perfect for companies to use for team-building.  It celebrates all the amazing places around Kansas City, including a map to follow for a combination.  It covers everything from 18th and Vine to the Northland and (of course) BBQ joints… plus many many other landmarks around town.

For fundraisers, we create clues specific to the cause.  For an event such as this, the group can charge individuals to play and they keep all the proceeds from the event, plus any “pay for hint” money that might be collected through the night. We only charge half price for fundraisers, so we are also donating time and work for the good of the cause, and everything raised goes directly to the fundraising event.  We made one specifically for a friend who has passed away and has a scholarship in his name.  Every clue was about him and the scholarship, so friends and family got to enjoy a night of celebrating their loved-one through his favorite things all while raising money for a great cause.

This is so fun for us, as educators!  We make clues specific to the school or whatever the big boss wants the clues to be.  But, usually this is for a fun, team-building activity.  We have so much fun watching the adults do what we often ask students to do!  This can also be used in a training-purpose sort of way and the clues can be whatever you need the participants to learn.

This is where we started and where we love to be!  Watching students solve our clues is so rewarding.  Basically, for an event to work in the classroom, the teacher hands over the curriculum/study-guide/test/assignment and we turn that information into clues.  So, when the students solve the clues and open the locks, they confirmed they know the information they need for that content.  This can be done with ANY content area and for most grade levels.

Doing this in schools and in our former library, we have seen the value in making clues for specific events.  The purpose can be to test the comprehension of the book, or it can be just to celebrate a fun book that everyone just read.  This has been everything from the Shakespeare to American classics to current popular books.  

Instead of having a specific theme, this one is for everyone!  This is general trivia, and we cover a little bit of everything pop culture as well as some deep thinking and physical activities.  This is very easy to customize for anyone’s needs.
